  • Step into a world where musical traditions from across the globe unite into one mesmerizing experience—HARMONYVERSE, a soul-stirring confluence of rhythm, melody, and movement presented by LAIMA. This immersive evening of music and dance brings together some of the most visionary artists of our time and the spirit of collaboration sings loud and clear.

Join us for this one-night-only celebration of artistic synergy featuring LAIMA Music Ensemble and a stellar lineup of virtuosos.

  • Pt. Anindo Chatterjee – Tabla: One of the world’s foremost tabla legends, Pandit Anindo Chatterjee is known for his electrifying solos and legendary collaborations with Pt. Ravi Shankar, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Shivkumar Sharma, and more. A disciple of Pt. Jnan Prakash Ghosh and torchbearer of the Farrukhabad gharana, he has graced stages from Rashtrapati Bhavan to the House of Commons. Anindo ji's presence is a rare and revered experience.

Rajib Karmakar – Sitar: Internationally acclaimed sitarist, composer, and educator Rajib Karmakar is the heartbeat of LAIMA and the visionary behind Harmonyverse. His genre-defying artistry has been featured in film, television, and iconic collaborations—from Beck and Chris Martin to Sandeep Das and Wu Tong. A sought-after performer at Lincoln Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and more, Rajib is also a beloved mentor and director, shaping the next generation through LAIMA and the LAIMA Foundation.

Reewa Rathod – Vocal: Daughter of renowned artists Roop Kumar and Sunali Rathod, Reewa is a genre-blending powerhouse. From opening for Bryan Adams to winning the Mirchi Music Award for her viral debut “Maula (One Above),” Reewa brings classical training, cinematic flair, and international appeal. Her music has been featured by Buddha Bar Paris and in global film soundtracks, and she continues to elevate Indian vocals on the world stage.

Svetlana Tulasi – Kathak: Svetlana Tulasi, born in Moscow to an Indian-Russian family, is a Kathak dancer with over 20 years of global performance and teaching experience. Trained by Katya ji of the Jaipur Gharana lineage, Svetlana holds a BA in Kathak from Prayag Sangeet Samiti. Her viral 2013 performance on Ukraine’s Got Talent garnered over 20 million views, leading to TV appearances across India, Russia, and Ukraine. She starred in Bollywood music videos and the upcoming sci-fi film The Xenophobes by Epistrophy Pictures.

Dave Cipriani – Slide Guitar: A master of sonic fusion, Dave blends Indian slide guitar with jazz, flamenco, Balkan, and classical traditions. With mentors like Pt. Barun Kumar Pal and jazz legend Charlie Byrd, and an MFA from CalArts in North Indian Music, Dave has forged a path all his own. His band Mahadev and his solo work showcase a fearless exploration of musical borders, producing award-winning albums and unforgettable performances across LA.

Chris Votek – Cello: Chris is not just a cellist—he’s a musical architect. With roots in Hindustani classical (a disciple of Dr. N. Rajam) and projects spanning The Silk Road Ensemble to Julia Holter and Kamasi Washington, Votek moves fluidly between genres. Whether producing in his studio Echo Manor or composing chamber works, Chris redefines what a cello can do. He’s also a pillar in LA’s musical education through the Harmony Project.

Neelamjit Dhillon – Tabla: A rare talent equally fluent in jazz and Hindustani classical, Neelamjit wields the tabla, saxophone, and bansuri with passion and purpose. A student of Ustad Zakir Hussain, his music reflects a spiritual quest and a commitment to justice and equity.
